Yes, you can rebuild your own Prius battery, it is in fact not that hard to do. You only need some hand tools, and new materials you can buy also on eBay and some other select websites. This option will cost you around $500 said and done. You will need to purchase “The Guide” it will cost you $50 for the guide but it is well worth it. From what I have seen from the customers I have spoken to that have used the guide, it seems to be fairly simple for anyone to do, and takes about 8 hours to complete the job if you have never done it before. I myself have used the guide twice, and have had great luck in rebuilding my battery.
